Multilingual Infoline – This service connects callers with the help of an interpreter (in over 170 different languages) to services and information on diabetes prevention, support and management. This service is free and easy to use. You can speak with a Diabetes Educator and/or Dietitian with the help of an interpreter. Diabetes Vic also produce a range of printed material in various languages.

Translated diabetes information 
The National Diabetes Services Scheme (NDSS) has translated ten Information Sheets into ten languages. They are available in Arabic, Chinese (Traditional & Simplified), Greek, Italian, Korean, Spanish, Turkish, Urdu and Vietnamese.

Understanding Gestational Diabetes DVD
The Understanding Gestational Diabetes: Healthy Pregnancy, Healthy Baby DVD has recently been updated by the National Diabetes Services Scheme to include the following six new languages – Bengali, English, Farsi, Khmer, Punjabi and Urdu. It is available as a 2 disc set, with disc 2 containing the existing DVD available in Arabic, Cantonese, Mandarin, Turkish, Vietnamese.
The DVD explains to women and their families how to manage their gestational diabetes and what to do when the baby is born.
